México , Chihuahua.- The mourning of mexican reporter and photographer, Rubén Espinosa Becerril, was grieve by comrades in the city of Chihuahua this last thursday. This weekly column news is dedicated to his memory, may he REST IN PEACE.

Rubén Espinoza, a young autodidact photographer, denounced that government from mexican state of Veracruz, headed by Governor Javier Duarte, threaten him, he left the state and moved to Distrito Federal seeking refuge, but it was there where he met dead, next to four other people.

A lucky shoot on his head reveals the urge his killer, or killers, wanted to terminate him. The case of Rubén, as many other reporters and journalist in México, still not resolved. He documented days before that some men were following his steps, this was posted in the webpage of activist group: Article 19, still, no authorities from any governments offered help.

A voice audio record, supposedly being Governor Javier Duarte, said to be taken on July 30 -a day before Ruben was shot dead- has been released by an anonymous source. In the audio, Governor Duarte gives advices to mexican reporters of Veracruz during a meeting, telling them to be very cautious and to “behave”, for “the time to shake the tree had come, and many rotten apples were going to fall”, no government officials have yet make comments on the recorded audio.

Many media agencies have placed México as the most dangerous country for journalist in the world, cases like Lydia Cacho, who fought against a persecution lead by government, and faced many threats, are examples on how rarely the establishment works to prevent “punishment” towards those who seek answers about government ties to corruption, or other illegal activities.

As american writer Ernest Hemingway said: “The world breaks everyone ... those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” May Rubén broken life, not be in vain.

In other lines of news, students from Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACh), demonstrated in public the high cost of education, reaching nearly 5 thousand dollars they said, for each academic term, this, while the lower payment is not even enough for most people, to cover most of their material needs.

It’s necessary to point that the students who demonstrated in public against the high cost of education, come from low income families, being impossible for them to afford such cost to finish university.
